We recommend pre-surgical blood work to evaluate your pet's health status prior to surgery. The work up includes a Complete Blood Count, Liver, Kidney and Glucose Screening. The cost is $ 66.00
Dogs that are heartworm positive or have tick-borne diseases are at greater risk for anesthetic complications. We strongly recommend having your dog tested for heartworm and tick-borne disease prior to surgery. Tick-borne diseases can cause low platelets and increased bleeding during surgery
If your dog is coming in for an OHE and found to be in heat or already pregnant additional charges will apply.
We will try to make your pet as comfortable as possible during their stay in our facility. We provide soft blankets and towels, but if you choose to bring your own personal items, lpease be aware that these items may become soiled and / or damaged during your pet's stay. We will not be responsible for any damage to these items.

I do hereby certify that I am the owner (duly authorized agent for the owner) of the animal described above. I do hereby give, Dr Olga Jaimez, and/or Associates / Technicians full and complete authority to perform the surgical and anesthetic procedures. And to preform any other procedure that, at his / her discretion, that may be useful to promote the health of the above described pet. Although uncommon, I am aware that there are inherent risks involved with anesthesia, including death. I do hereby and forever release Dr. Olga Jaimez, her agents or Associates from any and all liability arising from surgery on the above animal.
